HCLU public opinion survey shows that attitudes on drug policy are deeply divided in 6 EU countries

According to the findings of the Public poll survey on drug policy attitudes in 6 EU member states show that countries are deeply divided along the lines of criminal legislation on cannabis (Sweden, Bulgaria and Poland favour a “war on cannabis”, while The Netherlands, Denmark and the Czech Republic support some form of decriminalization or legalization). Most respondents do not consider criminal laws as a deterrent factor when deciding about their own drug use and think that drug use is a public health issue.
