EHRN is a membership based network. EHRN members - both individuals and organizations - come from the public and non-governmental sectors. They include drug treatment and policy agencies, experts and researchers, harm reduction service providers and networks, HIV service providers, drug user and people living with HIV community groups and activists, human rights organizations and various supporters and experts from inside and outside the region.

All Network's members support harm reduction principles and approaches. They respect and follow EHRN regulations and decisions, including the EHRN Membership Statute. A new version of the Eurasian Harm Reduction Network (EHRN) Membership Statute was approved by its Steering Committee (SC) in November 2008. The new Statute on EHRN Membership is enacted from December 15, 2008 with transitional period from December 15, 2008 till February 15, 2009 to update current membership.

The adoption of the Statute will be followed by re-confirmation of membership which is preliminary scheduled in February 2009. Current members will be then asked to recheck their contact data, provide additional information about their interests and competences and confirm their participation in EHRN, recommend other organizations for membership. This process is aimed at verification and activation of EHRN membership as well as at improvement of Network’s communication.
