Eurasian Harm Reduction Network (EHRN) is opening a vacancy for the EECA Civil Society Action Team (CSAT) Officer.

We are aiming to serve and advocate for the health and rights needs of people who use drugs and to build their capacity to scale-up and to raise the quality of harm reduction services in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

More information about the specific tasks and requirements of the  Officer are outlined in the job description attached (in English).

It is pleasure for us to invite you to join in our Network. At the moment over 270 organizations and individuals from the Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia (CEECA) and more than 70 other worldwide are members of Eurasian Harm Reduction Network (EHRN). Both individuals and organizations working in harm reduction, HIV/AIDS, human rights and other related issues in CEECA may join. Organizations and individuals from outside the region may join in as supporting members.

The procedure for becoming a member includes filling out a membership form for individuals or organizations. Information provided is reviewed and approved by the EHRN Secretariat. The decision regarding membership is carried out by the EHRN Steering Committee. Contact details of all members are added into an online EHRN members’ database.

All EHRN members are included in the online mailing groups (in English and/or Russian) and get regular updates and monthly digests on the regional and world-wide developments in the sphere of harm reduction. Further cooperation depends on mutual interests and initiative. More information about rights and benefits, as well as procedures is available in the EHRN Membership Statute.
